Disley Amalgamated Sports Club (“DASC”) is an amateur community sports club close to the villages of Disley and High Lane. The club was founded in 1899 on land leased from Baron Newton and today we offer a wide range of activities including football, badminton, cricket, tennis, squash, lacrosse, and fitness from our stunning home overlooking the Peaks. The club shares Sport England‘s vision that everyone should feel able to take part in sport or activity, regardless of age, background or ability.
Our teams compete in a number of local leagues and feature thriving junior sections. Classes and coaching sessions are available for all age ranges and special events are often arranged to take advantage of school holidays. The various training nights are an ideal opportunity to experience what DASC has to offer so check out the team pages for details of how to get involved.
As a community club we are proud to host many social events. Members and non-members are invited to hire the bar and function room to give special occasions a unique and picturesque backdrop. The licensed bar can cater for up to ninety people and our first floor terrace provides unrivalled views over Lyme Park and Kinder Scout. The car park has space for 50 vehicles and the premises are covered by 24hr CCTV inside and out, including the bar and lounge areas. To discuss using our facilities for your event, click here.
